Hi guys! Yesterday I got back from my amazing city trip to Barcelona, together with my bestie Annie. We visited Mirdja a dear friend of ours, she studies there. I planned to keep on posting during my trip but unfortunately it was not possible because the WiFi at her place was bad, I was lucky I could post a picture now and then on Instagram, So sorry guys for waiting but I kept up what I did in Barcelona so I could show you guys when I got back so here’s a little diary of my stay in Barcelona.
The flight was only 2 hours from Amsterdam to Barcelona so within no time we arrived at the beautiful city. I was so impressed by the characteristic buildings, Most of them designed by Antoni gaudi.
When we got to central station we had to take a metro to Mirdja’s place, luckily she lived in the central of Barcelona. Almost everywhere you go in Barcelona you have to take the metrothat’s why I bought a metro ticket for €10,30, this ticket allows you to go 10 times by metro.
Finally we got to her apartment, after some catching up and a little tour in the apartment we went out to take a look around in the city and search for a good place to eat. That’s where we found this cute vietnamese restaurant called bun bo Vietnam, it was yummie but nothing is as good as momma’s soulfood.
First day waking up in Barcelona felt good! such a great weather, around the 25 degrees. First thing we did was going out for some breakfast.
After breakfast we had to go to Mirdja’s school, she had to hand in a form so we decided to go with her. We didn’t plan to go shopping on this citytrip, yes I know how is that possible with this shopaholic Lol. It’s just because we wanted to do more sightseeing this time but because her school was near the shopping mall we decided to take a quick look. The shopping mall was called L’ illa. Lovely mall with lots of eating counters and stores such as Primark and Bershka. That’s where I bought these.
The bag I bought at Primark, it’s a limited edition. The rings are also from Primark.
The blue nailpolish is from Flormar, it’s similar to Sephora and
the nude polish I bought at the supermarket.
Affter the shopping mall we went to the supermarket to do some groceries and that’s where I spotted this.
You can bring you’re grocerie cart and lock it here so nobody can take it. Handy right Lol.
This we don’t have in Holland, white choclate with oreo’s in it. very yummie!
You should really try the tuna empenada if you’re in Barcelona. It’s like a pie with tuna in it. I know it sounds strange but it’s so delicious.
when you buy cosmetics you get this box with an alarm on it for theft. The alarm will be turned of at the cash desk.
After the groceries it was already time for dinner so our friend took us to a nice place for tapas called bar el tropezon. The service was great and the food also. I would recommend the patatas bravas, it’s so yum!
Some chicken wings, mushrooms, aubergines, bruschetta, shrimp in garlic sauce, patatas bravas and flambed chorizo.
So this was part I of my Barcelona diary, part II is coming up and also a photo diary of Barcelona so stay posted, Have a nice evening everyone!
